World Warriors

Who?

Anyone firmly established in a local church, between the ages of 16 and 20 (Some exceptions may be made for 21 year olds). Prior missions experience is highly recommended.

What?

Last Harvest World Warriors is an intensive discipleship/evangelism program. But it’s much more than a program; it’s a movement to reach the lost, through missions, to the ends of the earth. We do a lot of street ministry, through programs with songs and dramas. We also do a lot of ministry in churches at night. We may do some construction or any other specialized ministry when needed.

When?

To be announced

Where?

World Warriors is a traveling team. World Warriors Boot Camp training begins in El Salvador at the King’s Castle Ministries Training Center, on Lake Coatepeque. Last  year’s team traveled and ministered in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. This year the team will travel to 3 or 4 countries in Central America. World Warriors is a very hardcore trip, and can be physically draining at times, but is well worth it to see the lost come to Christ. Some of the places we work in are some of the remotest places you will have ever been to, it is quite an adventure.

Why?

“…because all the children need to know Jesus” is the theme of King’s Castle Ministries wherever we work. We are on a mandate to make Jesus famous to the next generation by reaching the children and their families through evangelism and discipleship. If you feel the Lord leading you to come down this summer or any other summer, it will change your life and perspective on everything, and it will stretch you.

Jesus said “GO into all the world…and these signs will accompany those that BELIEVE…”

So, fulfill what Jesus said, “Go” and “believe”; and God will show up and do the rest!

How?

To officially begin your journey as a Last Harvest World Warrior, you MUST complete both the Last Harvest World Warriors application and the MAPS application. It takes about 3 months to process your applications, so do this as soon as possible. Don’t forget to send both checks for $50 with each application.

Total deposit is $50 (LHWW) + $50 (MAPS) =$100

The deposit is deductible from the total $2,300 package, which includes application fees, training materials, room, board, and transportation within Central America. This cost does not include airfare to Central America, but it does include travel in El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua. (NOTE: This amount only includes in country expenses and does not apply to your airfare to and from El Salvador from the USA.)

Testimony

Here is a testimony from a 2007 Last Harvest World Warrior:

A place that will stand out in any of my team members' minds is Kuna Nega, Panama. This place broke our hearts; God broke our hearts for the children there. This place is also known as the city "dump." We got to work in many places throughout Panama City, but this place was special. God had sent us there, and we all knew it when the kids came forward for prayer in the prayer line: 95% of the kids weeping over the problems in their home.

The most consistent prayer requests we heard, as about 200 kids told us their need for prayer just before walking through a line of 20 World Warriors ready to offer the love of Christ to these kids, were: "Pray for the fighting to stop in my house,"  "That my parents wouldn't fight,"  "That my dad would stop drinking so much,"  "For the abuse to stop."

These are the cries of the children of Panama; these are the cries of their hearts. So deep, so hurt, so in need of a Savior full of love for them! That day, SALVATION rang through the streets of Kuna Nega, and no one could deny it! The youth and adults of the whole area watched around the sidelines of a basketball court as these children flooded it with their tears and clung to some strangers that promised Jesus, someone who could give them a way out, someone who gave them hope for an end to their desperate state. Pray for these kids. They need the presence of the Holy Spirit to come in and put peace in their homes, to inspire hope in their lives, and to rid their city, Kuna Nega, of darkness through the powerful  name of Jesus!

The next day we did the entire kids church service at an upper-class church in Panama City. But as the kids moved through the prayer line, it didn't take long for us to realize these kids had money and things, but they had the same exact problems, same situations as the kids we had prayed for the day before. We cried with these kids as we prayed the love of Christ over them, over their homes, and their city… These kids, both rich and poor, need your prayers.
